Description

Enjoy a snowmobile safari from Rovaniemi and explore the forests of the Lapland. Try ice fishing or snowshoe walking and partake in a traditional Lapish style lunch in the middle of the Finnish wild.

Cancellation Policy

  • Any cancellations made after the booking confirmation date will be subject to a charge of EUR 25.
  • Any cancellations made after 11:00 local time, 7 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • A pick-up service is provided for clients not staying in the town center. They will be picked up from their hotel approx. 45 minutes before departure.
    Guests staying at other hotels and accommodations listed should proceed directly to the Lapland Safaris Office in Koskikatu 1.
    Guests staying in Santa Claus Holiday Village, Snowman World & Snowman World Glass Resort and Nova Skyland Hotel are picked up in front of Arctic Circle Information.

Restrictions

  • Although the tour is intended for everyone it is not recommended for those with health/movement limitations due to the robust nature of activities.
  • Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate in this activity.
  • If less than 2 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
  • People 15 years old and above can participate in this activity.
  • Guests with a limited range of movement are not permitted to participate in this activity.

Additional Notes

  • Paying for the Self Liability Waiver lowers the payable from EUR 980 to only EUR 150 in the event of an accident and damage the snowmobile.
  • Purchase the Single Driving Supplement to enjoy a solo snowmobile ride.
  • You will share the transportation with other customers.
  • The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
  • The tour guide has full discretion to refuse service to customers based on attire, behavior, physical fitness and condition.

  • Please note that all drivers must bring a full driving license which is valid in Finland.

Ride a snowmobile and follow the trail that traverses rugged hills and narrow valleys. The first stop is where you will have the chance to try ice fishing and snowshoe walking. Continue through the forest where you might encounter some wildlife. A Lappish-style lunch will also be served on the tour.
